A quick & helpful guideline for photographers to help them choose models and how to find them.
Artist's Comments
Got to visit my family resting in Gaspra, Crimea, for two days, so used the opportunity to try my new graphite pencil on my new (proper) sketchpad. It was a building on the side of the mountain, you can probably tell by the way the foundation is shaped. Helpful critique and comments are very welcome.
Done without an eraser, as the kneaded erased I had along couldn't stand the heat, and was sticking to anything badly (starting with my fingers, then paper). I really liked the way graphite interacted with paper texture, forming some very nice patterns. Previous sketch I made in the same place, but of a different building, in 2008, can be found here.
